Cinderella is a very popular theme for Disney weddings, but one of the main concerns is how to keep the reception from looking like a 4-year-old girl's birthday party. I have gathered some Cinderella centerpiece ideas that I think will look really elegant in any reception space.
Lenox pieces
If you're a collector and you're willing to spend a little bit to have a nice keepsake, there are several Cinderella Lenox pieces available on Amazon.
Lenox Cinderella's Midnight Magic; Lenox Cinderella Wedding Day Cake Topper; Lenox Cinderella's Lighted Coach; Lenox Cinderella's Slipper Ring Holder; Lenox Disney Cinderella Jaq and Gus Tea Party Pals Figurine
Glass Slippers
A cluster of these three inch glass slippers surrounded by tealights and blue glass stones would make a simple and stunning centerpiece.
Clocks
These miniature grandfather clocks remind me of the clock tower that struck midnight, marking when Cinderella had to leave the ball. Grandfather clocks are classic, but any clock set to 12:00 would do the trick!
Pumpkins
Pumpkins represent Cinderella's coach, so of course they need to be included in a Cinderella decor round-up! They can be plain or sprayed silver to represent the glass carriage.

Do you have any other Cinderella decor ideas? I would love to hear about them in the comments!

It's always tricky to turn your favorite storybook into your wedding theme, but I think you did a great job with these reception decor ideas.
ReplyDeleteFor those that don't want to be too literal and have a bigger floral budget, you could incorporate the colors of certain Cinderella characters in the centerpieces of each table. One table could have an arrangement of red-orange, yellow and lime flowers (Gus Gus and Jacques), one table could have fuschia and emerald buds (the evil stepsisters) and so on.
I love those ideas! And you can name each table after the corresponding character. Too cute!
DeleteExactly! Even if you don't do the centerpieces as suggested, naming the tables after some of the Cinderella characters is a great way to tie in the story to your wedding.
DeleteI love these ideas!!! I might have to find an occasion to have a Cinderella party just to use them :) Awesome post! :)
ReplyDeleteI had a Cinderella Carriage card holder, and a smaller one that was a candle holder but I used it as a cake topper. DFTW also has one to rent that we used as the centerpiece for our sweetheart table.
